When i look at today’s text, I ask myself a few things. Today we are reading from Mark 14:12-25. This is a lot of text and can be broken into 3 different lessons but I’d like to briefly put it in to one short lesson as the Holy Spirit guides me. Prior to i ask yall to pray for me. I thank you for your faithfulness and for lifting me up this morning or evening. I trust God does hear your prayers and will answer them according to His Holy Will. Thank you God for this faithful servants of yours that are willing not to just read this emails but are willing to pray for me, a servant undeserving of all that you have giving me.    We look at 12-16. We see here that this is where they were preparing for the Passover. Where is it that we are preparing today to meet with Jesus? This doesn’t have to be something to the degree of following people into town, it simply can be your place of devotion. For me its my closet each morning and then my office to just spend time with Jesus. But we need to have a place prepared each day to meet with him. I know for myself if i miss one day with Jesus i am completely empty. I pray that you are the same way, completely empty if you are with out Jesus. Many of us have become content with not spending time with Jesus every day. This scares me. So today we need to pray for these people that don’t prepare time to spend with the Lord everyday.    To me praying is the time i spend preparing for my worship. I believe that prayer is a worship in and of its on but its a worship that brings me to place where i can see more clearly what lies before me.     VS: 17-21 So if we prepare by praying then it leads up to celebrating ( Worship). In this time for me is the reading of God’s word. In these verses it shows that Jesus reveals things to the disciples. In my time of reading God’s word he reveals things to me about Him. This is a means of celebrating to me, because he speaks to me. Grant it here it talks about one that is going to betray Jesus. It was a warning to them as it is to us. So we need to pray for those that are amongst us “Christians” that are or will be betraying Jesus.
     In Vs: 22-25 we see the Lord’s supper instituted. To mean this is a time of reflection. Jesus says ” take, eat: this is my body,…….. this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.” There is a great importance of this time in our lives that Christ is calling us to reflect on. Just as it is in our time of personal worship, we prepare (prayer), Celebrate (worship), and Lord’s supper ( reflect). when we pray to receive whatsoever the Holy Spirit is going to show us in our time or worship and reading of Gods word, we must have a time to reflect on what God has done in our lives and he is going to do through the revealing of His word to you. Many times we just say quick prayer read for a view minutes and then that’s our worship time. If we don’t reflect and see what God is showing us and is calling us to do, then the time i won’t say was pointless but we missed the point of worship.     So Lord i pray that we have a personal time of worship on a daily basis in the means of it being explained in the passover thought the Lord’s supper. I believe Lord if we  have a time similar to this that it will change our lives. If we treat ever time of worship whether its personal, family or public worship, it will be changed forever. We will begin to focus more on you and less on us. We will begin to have not only a time of reflection but a time to let action take place. When we o Lord prayer, worship, reflect it will help enable us in the way of our response ( action). Help us God to not just be partakers of the word but to be doers of the word. Thank you Lord for showing us the importance of our daily worship through the Lords supper.      I kn ow that many church take the Lord’s supper weekly and others on special occasions, i believe that if we celebrate our time of personal worship similar to the Lords supper then our lives will be forever changed. This is a challenge for all but realize that God will change you through this when we truly give him our all and all. So if your not willing to be change or fall completely in love with Christ then disregard these emails. But do note you have heard the word of God and today is the day of Salvation if you deny it today then your heart will grow harder and harder. Blessings to all.In Christ Name,Ross Campbell
