Wow!  I am reading in Luke 2:67-80 but our main text will be 77-79. But we are getting the picture of what John’s ministry will be and this is being prophesied by Zacharias, his father. 67-75 should be verses we really take a hold on and just thank God for all that he has done for us. We should remember that God will save you from our enemies, he will perform mercy, he will remember his holy covenant to Abraham. I just want to take a moment and Thank God for all that he has blessed us with both good and bad. He can work amongst us even in the bad times. We just one have to remember from yesterday that for with God nothing is impossible, and from today that he will save us. Even while we were yet sinners he died for us. What an amazing God we have and Serve.

    Now verses 77-79. This is what John’s ministry will look like and i think that when this is being said about him, we should take it to heart that it should be what is said to us and about us in our mission in life of serving king Jesus. They said that “he will give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God”  OK Christians pop quiz are we doing this if not know you know.  Also “to Give light to them That sit in darkness and in the shadow of the death, to guide our feet into the way of peace”.

     How are we today serving God by serving people. Are we giving knowledge of salvation through remission of sins only by the mercy of God. Or are we just walking around aimlessly through life without a care in the world. More people that you think fall in this category. News flash we don’t get into heaven by the skin of our teeth. Are we being the light unto this dark dark world. I think not. i think our candle is low on liquids.

    As my pastor preached last week a call to complete I’m preaching a call to action. It can be one and the same thing in many ways. But however you want to look at it its time to get over your fears, to get out of your comfort zone and truly trust in our God. Our God knows all things and will take care of us. Listen to the words as your read them in verses 77-79. How can those words enhance your witness to this lost world. Make them your life statement.

     My heart goes out to yall. My tears are many for the reason i just don’t believe your getting it. For  i know its not mine to worry and this is why i give it all to the Lord for he knows best. I pray for yall may Gods words touch your hearts and you never be the same.
